It is not happening only in US, world over the trends are showing that more home owners are looking to sell their houses and other properties. This year property appreciation has not been up to the mark. There are thousands of people who invested in the property markets and now thinking to go for a sale. It might not be very good idea to sell your house right now. The economy is showing the path to recovery and it might take some more time when anyone finds the suitable buyer and good deal in the market. Short selling would mean that you are going to get lesser amounts than you owe to banks or financers. It will not be profitable to sell your house now. If you have other means to survive without making a sale on your home, better try something else like reworking your loan and other sources with the banks and the agents. In most of the cases, you must be able to consolidate your debt easily with the creditors.
